Max Carruthers
Director / General Manager

Born and bred in Gisborne, Max qualified as a diesel Mechanic then spent several years overseas in the open cast mines in Australia as a heavy engineering Maintenance Engineer.

Returning home he started Endeavour Sheetmetals Ltd in 1978. He acquired Gisborne Engineering in 1991. An expansion in 1995 -98 doubled the business service area and in 2001 he implemented a progressive policy to update vital machinery & plant which has left the company in good stead to face the 21st century.
Natasha Carruthers

Natasha is the fronts-person for the sheetmetal and heavy workshops. She takes in the jobs and is responsible for the liaison and communication between the department managers and customers
Office Administrator

Debbie had eight years accounting experience behind her prior to joining Gisborne Engineering. She has been with the Company for quite a number of years and is responsible for the smooth running of the office and accounts system.

Nathan came up through the ranks and has a good grasp on all facets of the company's operation.
He is the go to guy to arrange workshop jobs and takes special responsibility for LT400 work

Horst Schreiber needs no introduction, his reputation in the Gisborne district is second to none in the machining community.
Born in Germany he has that pragmatic attitude for precision that is traditional in German tradesmen
He is backed by a great team of machinists and the most modern equipment in the district
